Steward's Report
Galena Bale, Fine Tactics and Diama Miss were quick to begin. Come On Serenity and True Survivor collided on the first turn. Diama Miss and Whispy Bale collided on the first turn. Whispy Bale and True Survivor collided on the second turn. Come On Serenity checked off Natsu Bale on the home turn. Come On Serenity and True Survivor collided on the home turn. Natsu Bale and Whispy Bale collided in the home straight.
True Survivor was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 7. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right calf and right back muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr J. Borg, Trainer, regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the second turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), True Survivor was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Borg pleaded guilty to the charge, True Survivor must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
