Galena Bale, Fine Tactics and Diama Miss were quick to begin.  Come On Serenity and True Survivor collided on the first turn.  Diama Miss and Whispy Bale collided on the first turn.  Whispy Bale and True Survivor collided on the second turn.  Come On Serenity checked off Natsu Bale on the home turn.  Come On Serenity and True Survivor collided on the home turn.  Natsu Bale and Whispy Bale collided in the home straight.

True Survivor was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 7.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right calf and right back muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.   Stewards spoke to Mr J. Borg, Trainer, regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the second turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), True Survivor was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Borg pleaded guilty to the charge, True Survivor must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Sweet Impala and Aston Alessio were quick to begin.  Legasov Bale and Rodrigo Bale collided soon after the start checking Legasov Bale.  Cayden Bale and Our Manny collided approaching the first turn.  Big Little Sis raced wide on the first turn.  Legasov Bale and Rodrigo Bale collided on the first turn.  Our Manny and Big Little Sis collided on the third turn checking Our Manny which lost ground as a result.  Legasov Bale and Rodrigo Bale collided entering the home straight.   Big Little Sis turned its head outwards and failed to pursue the lure, severely checking Legasov Bale, Rodrigo Bale and Big Little Sis, entering the home straight.  Legasov Bale, Rodrigo Bale and Big Little Sis collided approaching the winning post checking all three greyhounds.

Our Manny was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Big Little Sis was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left shin and right triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr S. Brincat, Representative for Big Little Sis regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1)  Big Little Sis was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Brincat pleaded guilty to the charge, Big Little Sis is suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Come On Eleanor was quick to begin.  Whoomph was slow to begin.  Midnight Titan and Elle Est Bonne collided on the first turn.  Couture, Midnight Titan and Elle Est Bonne collided entering the front straight.  Couture and Midnight Titan collided in the front straight checking Midnight Titan.  Rockstar Melody galloped on the heels of Keefe in the back straight checking both greyhounds.  Keefe and Couture collided in the home straight.
