My Bro Rocks and Mostro Rocks collided soon after the start.  Especial One, Red Light Rico, Zipping Hamish and Starry's Lad collided approaching the first turn.  Threaten and My Bro Rocks collided approaching the first turn.  Threaten checked off Shanlyn Charlott on the first turn checking Especial One.  Mostro Rocks checked off Especial One on the first turn checking Red Light Rico, Zipping Hamish and Starry's Lad.  Zipping Hamish and Starry's Lad collided entering the back straight.  Mostro Rocks checked off Red Light Rico on the third turn.  Mostro Rocks checked off Especial One on the home turn and collided with Zipping Hamish.  Mostro Rocks and Zipping Hamish collided in the home straight checking Zipping Hamish.  

Kraken Buster and Tilly Lee were quick to begin.

My Attitude crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Alpine Cowboy.  Rico's Amore and Go Commando collided approaching the first turn.  Alpine Cowboy and Jugungal Black collided approaching the first turn checking Jugungal Black.  Alpine Cowboy checked off Facing The Music on the first turn.  My Attitude and Tilly Lee collided approaching the second turn.  Go Commando checked off Facing The Music entering the back straight severely checking Alpine Cowboy and Jugungal Black causing Jugungal Black to stumble.  Facing The Music checked off Tilly Lee approaching the home turn.  Tilly Lee and My Attitude collided on the home turn.  Tilly Lee turned its head and collided with My Attitude in the home straight and again approaching the winning post. 

Tilly Lee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abraded webbing to left & right hind and the left front, a 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr R. Palmer, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight and approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Tilly Lee was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Palmer pleaded guilty to the charge, Tilly Lee must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr L. Karabitsakos the representative of Rico's Amore and reminded him of his responsibilities to listen to the starters instructions in accordance with GAR 51(4)..

Moonie Convoy and Scatterbox were quick to begin.  Lily Pad, Nadali and Charango were slow to begin.

King Of Swing checked off Moonie Convoy soon after the start checking Angie Ling.  Scatterbox crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Moonie Convoy, King Of Swing, Nadali, Why Not Luv and Charango.  Angie Ling and Moonie Convoy collided approaching the second turn.  Angie Ling, Moonie Convoy and Nadali collided on the second turn checking Moonie Convoy.  Angie Ling crossed out in the back straight checking Nadali.  Lily Pad checked off Why Not Luv on the third turn.  Nadali and King Of Swing collided on the third turn and again approaching the home turn severely checking King Of Swing.  Moonie Convoy checked off King Of Swing on the home turn.  Why Not Luv and Scatterbox collided on the home turn.  

King Of Swing underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind dorsal and metatarsals - no stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Imogen - Late scratching at 6.39pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a tail dislocation.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Clark, the trainer of Kraken Katie regarding the greyhounds racing manners [entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Kraken Katie was charged with marring. Mr Clark pleaded guilty to the charge, Kraken Katie is suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ragnar Bale, Blazing Hype and Repercussions were slow to begin.

Zekel Bale and Kiss Me Razley collided approaching the first turn.  Fast Izzi checked off Double Supreme on the first turn checking Ragnar Bale and Blazing Hype.  Kiss Me Razley galloped on Zekel Bale on the first turn severely checking Zekel Bale which stumbled checking Repercussions.  Ragnar Bale checked off Fast Izzi on the first turn. Blazing Hype and Fast Izzi collided in the front straight.  Fast Izzi, Kiss Me Razley and Repercussions collided on the second turn checking all three greyhounds.
