Can't Say That was quick to begin. Pack Of Jokers was slow to begin. Tristian Rose went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Pack Of Jokers and Hurricane Red collided soon after the start. Royal Arrival, Hurricane Red and Rapid Response collided approaching the first turn severely checking Hurricane Red and Royal Arrival. Tristian Rose was checked off Rapid Response on the first turn. Hurricane Red was checked off Pack Of Jokers approaching the home turn. Tristian Rose, Our Blue Spolly and Rapid Response collided entering the home straight checking Tristian Rose and Rapid Response and severely checking Our Blue Spolly which stumbled and lost ground. Royal Arrival and Rapid Response collided in the home straight. Hurricane Red raced wide in the home straight.
Royal Arrival underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr. B. George the trainer of Royal Arrival and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.
Our Blue Spolly underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a webbing injury on the right front foot. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
