Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Woorarra Warrior and Break The Chains collided soon after the start. Jackson's Creek and Break The Chains collided on the first turn. Woorarra Warrior stumbled on the first turn. Frainy's Well raced wide approaching the second turn. 

Woorarra Warrior underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

A sample was taken from Zumi's Swagger upon arrival at the course.

Superior Jacob – New declared weight of 33.7kgs, last raced at 32.3kgs.

Magic Duo was quick to begin. Superior Jacob and Zumi's Swagger were slow to beign. 

Bold Rooster and Sarah Beauty collided on the first turn checking Bold Rooster. Superior Jacob and One Double Beat raced wide on the first turn. Zumi's Swagger checked off One Double Beat on the first turn. One Double Beat raced wide on the home turn. Bold Rooster collided with Superior Jacob on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Bold Rooster visibly eased approaching the winning post. 

Bold Rooster underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right shoulder and right hamstring muscles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Arend Gringhuis, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Bold Rooster was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Gringhuis pleaded guilty to the charge, Bold Rooster must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Sneakin' Sally was quick to begin. Chelsea's Love was slow to begin. 

It's A Blaze crossed to the rails approaching the first turn checking Shimmy Over and Hindi's Chance. Shimmy Over checked off Hindi's Chance approaching the first turn. Boes Bounty and Shimmy Over collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Weblec Storm checked off Sneakin' Sally on the first turn. Boes Bounty and My Bro Lucky collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Shimmy Over galloped on My Bro Lucky approaching the third turn. Boes Bounty and Hindi's Chance collided approaching the home turn causing Boes Bounty to race wide. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Jason Stemmer, the trainer of  Hindi's Chance and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. 

A  post-race blood sample was taken from It's A Blaze - the winner of the event in a new track record time of 29.541secs.   

A pre-race sample was taken from Reap The Rewards. 

Why Not Colby and Almani Rampage collided several times soon after the start to the first turn. Bubba Jo checked off Why Not Bazzar soon after the start. Bubba Jo and Almani Rampage collided several times in the home straight to the winning post. 

Almapa Berisha was slow to begin.

Johnny Be Good and Desiree Dancer collided soon after the start. Shakalaka, Johnny Be Good and Almapa Berisha collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds; Johnny Be Good contacted the running rail as a result. Maverick Bob and Kimani collided on the home turn. 

Percy's Magic was quick to begin. 

Manila Knight and Yozo Bale collided on the first turn. Manila Knight, Yozo Bale and Annie Rose collided approaching the second turn checking Annie Rose and Manila Knight. Vesper Bale checked off Houdini Boy approaching the second turn.

Winlock Newbolt checked off It's Not Fun on the first turn. Kingfisher Rose checked off Winlock Newbolt approaching the second turn. Wonderful World and Tiggerlong Ginga collided approaching the second turn. Tiggerlong Ginga raced wide on the home turn.

Zipping Clive was slow to begin. 

Flash De Goey, Zekel Bale and Sheer Bliss collided soon after the start. Tilly Lee, Sheer Bliss and Ivey's Affair collided approaching the first turn checking Ivey's Affair. Ivey's Affair and Flash Degoey collided approaching the second turn severely checking Ivey's Affair. Smokin' Cindy visibly eased and turned its head on the third turn. Tilly Lee checked off Smokin' Cindy on the home turn. 

Smokin' Cindy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left calf and left monkey muscles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Tony Tufo regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the third turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Smokin' Cindy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Tufo pleaded guilty to the charge, Smokin' Cindy must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Majestic Way was quick to begin.  Go The Doves and Baggy's Gold were slow to begin.

Mystic Faith shifted in soon after the start checking Barbie Jiggs and Full Of Mojo. Majestic Faith and Cute Indeed collided on the first turn. Barbie Jiggs and Full Of Mojo collided on the first turn checking Full Of Mojo. 

Special Kirst and Break The Plate were slow to begin. 

Mighty Matilda, Special Kirts and Ryben Jack collided on the first turn severely checking Special Kirst, Missing Queen and Holly's Affair. Gellar Bale crossed to the rails on the first turn checking Mighty Matilda and Tickle My Fancy. Mighty Matilda and Tickle My Fancy collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.
