Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Ripplebrook Mack was slow begin.  Jakey's Day was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Zipping Vegas and Amy's Alone collided approaching the first turn checking Amy's Alone.  Amy's Alone checked off Zipping Vegas on the first turn.  Star Gem, Skitz and Why Not Gigi collided on the first turn checking Skitz causing Why Not Gigi to fall severely checking Ripplebrook Mack, Zipping Vegas, Amy's Alone and Jakey's Day; Zipping Vegas fell and Ripplebrook Mack stumbled as result.  Star Gem raced wide on the home turn.  Skitz checked off Star Gem entering the home straight.  

Zipping Vegas underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Why Not Gigi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle and an abrasion to the left front wrist.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Zoe's Dream underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind foot.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Hook Along Book and Mates Rates collided approaching the first turn severley checking Mates Rates.  Teardrop checked off Secret Thoughts on the home turn.  

Trainer Mr D. Kerr requested that Hook Along Book undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right front foot dislocated toe.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Akina Harley was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Dissociative, Mostro Rocks, It's Not Fun, Maximum Refusal and Wesley Bale collided on the first turn checking Mostro Rocks and It's Not Fun.  Dissociative and Maximum Refusal collided approaching the second turn.  Dissociative raced wide in the back straight.

Rusty Model and Kimani collided on the first turn checking Kimani.  Special Kirst contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground.  Special Kirst and Piparae collided twice on the first turn.  Just Love and Kimani collided on the first turn severely checking Kimani.  Piparae checked off Special Kirst entering the home straight.  Just Love and Reap The Rewards collided approaching the winning post.
