Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Rose Of Airly and Somerton Osprey were slow to begin.  Sunshine Spolly and Somerton Osprey collided soon after the start.  Rose Of Airly, Horace Bale and Yassie Belle collided on the first turn checking Yassie Belle which stumbled.  Rose Of Airly and Horace Bale collided on the first turn checking Rose Of Airly.  Rose Of Airly and Horace Bale collided approaching the winning post.

Yassie Belle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the left front foot.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the event Rose Of Airly collapsed.  A veterinary examination found the greyhound had a seizure.  A 7 day stand down penalty was imposed.  Acting in accordance with GAR 74 Rose Of Airly must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) and receive a veterinary clearance before any future nomination will be accepted.

Airly Liberty and Mandalo were slow to begin.  Dr. Cassia was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Hook Along Patch and Montoya collided approaching the first turn.  Mandalo and Tatum collided on the first turn.  Dr. Cassia and Tatum raced wide on the home turn.  Airly Liberty and Amrin collided approaching the winning post.

Star Platinum and Jayville Tahlia were quick to begin.  Run To You brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Star Platinum, Omega Cimarron and Jayville Tahlia collided on the first turn checking Star Platinum, Omega Cimarron, Jayville Tahlia and West Of Westeros severely checking Ezra Bale and Rosie Reigns.

Ezra Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Lika Lottie - Late scratching at 14:40 on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to severe bruising to the right back muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Incognito was quick to begin.  Big Coin Buddy and Waltz On Bye collided on the second turn checking Waltz On Bye.  Diamond Cartel checked off Big Coin Buddy on the second turn.

Camila was quick to begin. Dr. Rozzie and Carrie were slow to begin.  Claydon, Camila and Airly Pablo collided soon after the start. Airly Pablo, Carrie and Claydon collided approaching the first turn checking Claydon. Claydon and Carrie collided on the first turn. Camila tired in the home straight.

Camila underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind foot. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Zarbo was quick to begin.  Zipping Zarbo and Dr. Knuckles collided on the first turn checking Wild Card.  Zipping Zarbo and Dr. Knuckles collided on the home turn.  Wild Card contacted the running rail on the home turn and collided with Rollo Ragnar and Madalia Maggie checking all three greyhounds.  Rollo Ragnar and Madalia Maggie raced wide on the home turn.  Dr. Knuckles tired in the home straight.

Wild Card underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Dr. Knuckles underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg deltoid muscle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Rocket Boy and Zipping Walter were slow to begin.  Duke Of Airly checked off Ivoria Bale approaching the first turn.  Fortuna Bale checked off Ivoria Bale on the first turn checking Zambora Bear, Eye Catcher and Zipping Walter.  Fortuna Bale and Eye Catcher collided on the first turn.  Fortuna Bale, Eye Catcher and Zipping Walter collided approaching the home turn checking all three greyhounds.  Eye Catcher and Zipping Walter collided on the home turn.
