Steward's Report
Rumpelstiltskin - Late scratching at 6.42pm by Order of Stewards acting in the best interests of greyhound racing in accordance with GAR20(4)(b) due to an issue associated with the GRV COVID health screening protocols. Trainer Mr B. Chapman and an unlicensed person were directed to leave course immediately pursuant to GAR 20(3)(n). After taking initial evidence an inquiry in regards to the matter has been adjourned.
Mandalo and Destini Arrow were slow to begin.
Mandalo and Destini Arrow collided approaching the first turn, checking Mandalo. Destini Arrow contacted the running rail on the first turn. Aston Barty checked off Destini Arrow approaching the home turn. Destini Arrow crossed to the outside on the home turn, checking Mandalo and Destini Arrow.
Destini Arrow underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a hamstring and thigh injury, left hindleg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
