Without Fear was slow to begin.
Ghost Ship and Weblec Whirl collided soon after the start, checking Ghost Ship. Without Fear lost ground approaching the home turn. Nice And Easy and Gitan collided several times in the home straight, checking Gitan.
Without Fear underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg wrist injury. A seven day stand down period was imposed.
