Steward's Report
Chillin was slow to begin.
Broken Pieces stumbled at box rise. Eddie, Shifting Sands and Muza's Gift collided soon after the start. Broken Pieces checked off Chillin approaching the first turn. Chillin, Refresh, Eddie and Shifting Sands collided on the first turn checking Chillin and Shifting Sands. Broken Pieces and Muza's Gift collided on the first turn. Shifting Sands and Chillin collided approaching the second turn checking Broken Pieces causing Shifting Sands to fall. Chillin and Muza's gift collided on the second turn. Gendarme and Space Alert collided several times approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Chillin and Refresh collided in the home straight. Eddie and Refresh collided approaching the winning post.
Shifting Sands underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found a left foreleg toe collateral ligament rupture. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Chillin - winner of the event.

MEETING COMMENTS:
Stewards opened and finalised an inquiry in relation to an incident that occurred after the running of Race 8 at Sandown on 22 November 2019 with registered trainer Mr Steven White. After taking into account Mr White's submissions, remorse and the language used, Stewards issued Mr White with an official warning for the conduct.
