Typhoon Bolt and Love Heart were slow to begin.
Start The Clock crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Apache Chaz. Euchre John, Aston Squire and Love Heart collided approaching the first turn. Apache Chaz checked off Aston Squire on the first turn. Euchre John checked off Apache Chaz entering the home straight. Aston Squire checked off Zipping Aspen in the home straight. Start The Clock raced wide approaching the winning post.
