Rockstar Lincoln was a late scratching at 6.15 PM by Order of Stewards acting under GAR 25 (1) (e) (ii). Stewards were unable to establish the identity of the greyhound upon presentation at kenneling. Rockstar Lincoln will be stood down until such time Stewards can determine the bona fides of the greyhound.

Stewards spoke to Mr. N. Carthew, the trainer of Rainbow Spirit regarding a significant market move on fixed odds betting ($17 to $5) for the greyhound. Mr. Carthew stated that he had a minimal investment on Rainbow Spirit and was unaware of the betting surrounding the greyhound. Stewards noted Mr. Carthew’s comments. 

Kadalex Kid and River Crossing collided approaching the first turn. South Of Eden and Tiggerlong Ring collided approaching the first turn. Kadalex Kid and Agent Voilet collided approaching the home turn and again in the home straight.

Emerald Rainbow was quick to begin.

Speckie McKean and Dyna Romy collided approaching the first turn. Revelation checked off Dyna Aakil on the first turn, checking Sudden Force. Dyna Romy checked off Mitch Bale on the first turn. Dyna Romy and Emerald Rainbow collided in the home straight.

Dyna Aakil underwent a post-race veterinary examination after falling prior to the catching pen and was found to have abrasions to the left hind toes. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr.G.Dailly the handler of Dyna Aakil and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.
