A pre-race sample was taken from Sadarli.
Zipping Cedric, Zipping Hunter and No Tickles were slow to begin and collided several times soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Zipping Hunter and Zipping Cedric. Quick To Anger was checked off No Tickles on the first turn. Blazin' Reggie was checked off Sadarli on the first turn checking Blazin' Reggie which contacted the running rail and lost considerable ground checking Zipping Cedric. Quick To Anger, Zipping Hunter and Zipping Cedric collided approaching the home turn checking Quick To Anger and Zipping Cedric. Blazin' Reggie and Quick To Anger collided on the home turn checking Quick To Anger.
Blazin' Reggie underwent a post race veterinary examination and there was no apparent injury reported.
