Kennels closed 7 minutes late, at 10:38am, due to issues with the internet connection during kennelling.

An out of competition sample was taken from the scratched greyhound Scatterbox on 22.11.2019 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Superior Dunkley went up with the lids at box rise. Resounding and Severide collided soon after the start. Superior Dunkley, Resounding and River Bank collided approaching the 300m mark. Resounding and River Bank collided approaching the 250m mark. Resounding faltered at the 250m mark and subsequently tailed off. Grumpy Derek checked off Callum Ari at the 150m mark.

Resounding underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right monkey muscle and the left quadriceps. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

What A Kicker – Late scratching at 6.34pm on 23.11.2019 when trainer Tony Tufo reported the greyhound to have a back muscle injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Superior Breeze went up with the lids at box rise. One Eyed Bandit and Rio Hustler collided soon after the start. Ali Tonic, Rio Hustler and One Eyed Bandit collided approaching the 300m mark. One Eyed Bandit and Rio Hustler collided at the 250m mark and again at the 150m mark checking One Eyed Bandit. Superior Breeze contacted the running rail at the 150m mark. Rio Hustler and Ali Tonic collided at the 100m mark.

Superior Breeze underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadriceps injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Dee Dee One – New declared weight of 31.6kg, last raced at 29.9kg.

Lektra Elsa and Simply Smarter collided soon after the start. Challis Sprite and Inter Lana collided soon after the start. Superstar Chase and Buck The Jockey collided soon after the start. Especial Shiraz crossed to the outside at the 300m mark and collided with Buck The Jockey, Challis Sprite and Inter Lana. Especial Shiraz and Buck The Jockey collided at the 250m mark and again at the 200m mark checking Especial Shiraz and Superstar Chase. Lektra Elsa checked off Superstar Chase approaching the 150m mark and stumbled. Lektra Elsa crossed to the outside at the 150m mark.

Speedy Spyro and Sateesha collided approaching the 100m mark checking Sateesha. Sateesha and Speedy Spyro collided approaching the winning post checking Sateesha which lost ground as a result.

Bourbon An Kahn crossed in soon after the start and collided with Go Commando checking Bourbon An Kahn, Go Commando, Nirimba Pirate and Cawbourne Hunter. No Passengers and Challis Magic collided several times from the 200m mark to approaching the 150m mark.

Gracelands, Blair Bale, Fran Bale and Diamond White collided approaching the 250m mark checking Fran Bale which stumbled as a result. Gracelands and Diamond White collided approaching the 150m mark. Canowindra checked off Kroos at the 50m mark. Canowindra and Kroos collided approaching the winning post.

A post-race sample was taken from Unexplainable - the winner of the event.

Fawn Secrets– Late scratching at 11.12pm on 23.11.2019 when trainer Cameron Morris-Flynn reported the greyhound to have a pencil muscle injury. (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Clarence Clocka and Toby Sure were slow to begin.

Slick Paws – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vet prior to trialling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Warragul on 19/11/2019. Slick Paws was examined by the on-track veterinarian and found to be free from injury. Slick Paws was Cleared to race.
