Rebel May Road underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left foreleg bicep injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

One Babe and Bolshoi Ballet were slow to begin.

Miss Caitlyn crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Aston Alessio.  King Of Swing crossed to the rail soon after the start checking One Babe, Bolshoi Ballet and My Boy Winlock.  Our Harriet checked off Shanlyn Charlott approaching the first turn.  Miss Caitlyn, Aston Alessio and Shanlyn Charlott collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Alessio.  King Of Swing and Miss Caitlyn collided on the first turn.  One Babe checked off Bolshoi Ballet on the first turn.  Aston Alessio, Miss Caitlyn and Shanlyn Charlott collided entering the back straight checking Miss Caitlyn and Shanlyn Charlott.  One Babe checked off Bolshoi Ballet in the back straight.  Miss Caitlyn, Shanlyn Charlott and Our Harriet collided on the third turn checking Our Harriet which collided with One Babe.  Bolshoi Ballet contacted the running rail on the third turn.  Miss Caitlyn checked off Shanlyn Charlott approaching the home turn.

Newfire Drewie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 9. Newfire Drewie was found to have injuries to the left and right stifle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Undisputed was slow to begin.

Matilda Mikado and Lady Bang Bang collided on the first turn.  Little Biddy and Tourello collided entering the front straight checking Little Biddy.  Matilda Mikado and Tourello collided on the second turn.  Undisputed checked off Tourello approaching the home turn.  Matilda Mikado and Little Biddy collided on the home turn.

Go Tango was quick to begin.  Saint West was slow to begin.

Aston Atley, Spin The Trolley and Push collided soon after the start checking Spin The Trolley.  Nordegren, Cabin Fever, Saint West, Aston Atley and Push collided approaching the first turn checking Saint West and Spin the Trolley.  Nordegren checked off Aston Atley on the first turn and collided with Cabin Fever.  Push and Aston Atley collided on the first turn checking Push.  Saint West raced wide in the front straight.  Aston Atley checked off Push on the fifth turn.

Saint West underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Shane Fisher, the representative of Saint West and acting under GAR 75 (1) Stewards ordered Ms Ann-Marie Matheson to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Saint West in the event which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. 

A post-race sample was taken from Cabin Fever - the winner of the event.

Mr Mark Delbridge was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Go Pappa Go pursuant to GAR 33.

Threadin' Mikado was slow to begin.  Bush Blossom and Swift Current was quick to begin.

Hedonistic underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Jugungal Black - Late scratching at 1:28pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to right hind toe injury. No stand down period was imposed. 

Blur was slow to begin.

Frost Us and Peas And Carrots collided soon after the start.  Speedy Ryder checked off Peas And Carrots on the first turn checking Blur.  Frost Us and Speedy Ryder collided on the second turn.  Frost Us checked off Peas And Carrots approaching the third turn.  Speedy Ryder and Blur collided on the third turn and again approaching the home turn.
