Steward's Report
Zulu Dance was slow to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start. Hardaway Samara and Slick Paws collided soon after the start. Nowhere Nathe crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Slick Paws and Hardaway Samara. Next Challenge and Wave Collision collided at the 250m mark. Slick Paws and Nowhere Nathe collided at the 200m mark and again approaching the 150m mark.
Hardaway Samara underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey and left triangle muscles. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Zulu Dance underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right hamstring soreness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Legend Grace underwent a post-race veterinary examination- no apparent injury was reported. Trainer Ms P. Triaca declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted.
Stewards spoke to Ms P. Triaca, the Trainer of Legend Grace regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Legend Grace must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
