Pink Tiara and Voluptuous Blue were quick to begin.  Voluptuous Blue, Shrek's Rusty, Tinker Bess, Brian Harold and Mirror Max collided soon after the start.  Dr. Summer and Voluptuous Blue collided on the first turn.  Tinker Bess, Brian Harold and Mirror Max collided on the first turn.  Shrek's Rusty was checked off Voluptuous Blue approaching the home turn.  Shrek's Rusty and Brian Harold collided on the home turn.  Tinker Bess and Brian Harold collided entering the home straight.

Father Phevos was quick to begin.  Madalia Ken and Spolly's Buddy collided soon after the start.  Madalia Ken, Looby Sky, Gypsy Hook and Timmy Tunga collided on the first turn checking Madalia Ken and Looby Sky.  Madalia Ken and Looby Sky collided approaching the home turn checking Looby Sky.

Rusty Model was quick to begin.  Goldrush Rose was slow to begin.  Sooky Jooky and Fifty Dollar collided soon after the start.  Lottie Biscotti and Vitaliser collided soon after the start and again approaching the home turn.  Vitaliser galloped on Sooky Jooky on the home turn checking Vitaliser and severely checking Sooky Jooky.  Sooky Jooky raced wide in the home straight.

Notorious was slow to begin.  Farfalla Nera, Lucky Millie, Winlock Buttons and Cross Threaded collided soon after the start checking Lucky Millie.  Farfalla Nera, Kingfisher Rose and Winlock Buttons collided approaching the first turn checking Farfalla Nera.  Notorious and Jackson's River collided on the first turn.  Lucky Millie was checked off Jackson's River entering the home straight.

Lucky Millie proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Streak Ahead was slow to begin.  Harvey Warbanger and High Kings collided approaching the first turn checking High Kings.  Almapa Berisha, High Kings and Annie Rose collided on the first turn checking Almapa Berisha and Streak Ahead.  Annie Rose was checked off High Kings approaching the home turn.  Small Rose and Streak Ahead collided on the home turn.

Whodat Lookin' and Aston Topaz were quick to begin.  Chief's Magic and Lilly Lancaster collided soon after the start.  Whodat Lookin' and Flying Fifi collided approaching the first turn checking Flying Fifi and severely checking Whodat Lookin'.  Sprightly Bro was checked off Aston Wizard on the first turn checking Whodat Lookin' and Sprightly Bro and severely checking Aston Onyx, Chief's Magic and Flying Fifi.

Rock It Fernando was quick to begin.  Sideshow Marjen, Master Zemnick and Silver Man collided soon after the start checking Master Zemnick.  Rock Me Gorgeous, Mumma's Bear, Silver Man and Cilla Gem collided on the first turn checking Mumma's Bear.  Rock Me Gorgeous and Where's Lola collided entering the home straight.  Master Zemnick and Where's Lola raced wide in the home straight.

Lots Of Chatter was slow to begin.  Poison Gas was checked off Almapa Sunshine on the first turn.  Almapa Sunshine was checked off Montey Jack approaching the home turn checking Almapa Sunshine.  Montey Jack marred Talk Talk Talk in the home straight.  Almapa Sunshine galloped on Talk Talk Talk in the home straight.

Almapa Sunshine underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have lost a nail on the left hind foot.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Montey Jack underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind foot.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Johnson the trainer of Montey Jack regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Montey Jack was charged with marring.  Mr. Johnson pleaded not guilty to the charge, Montey Jack was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ants In Pants and He Shall Johnny were slow to begin.  Monster Machine and Sure To Excite collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  River Crossing, Kadalex Kid and Ready And Armed collided entering the home straight.  Monster Machine, River Crossing, Kadalex Kid and Ready And Armed raced wide in the home straight.  Ants in Pants was checked off Sure To Excite approaching the winning post.

Zemira Mikado - late scratching at 10.19pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an injured left wrist.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Banjo's Affair, Princess America and Quillan Bale collided soon after the start.  Over Talking and Toby Time collided approaching the first turn.  Muza's Angel, Ryder Sir and Toby Time collided on the first turn checking Muza's Angel, Ryder Sir, Over Talking and Princess America.  Quillan Bale was checked off Toby Time approaching the winning post.
