Abbey Siobhan – New declared weight of 30.8kgs last raced at 29.1kgs.
Gunmandu, Angus Abalone and Legend Spy were slow to begin.
Gunmandu crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Legend Spy and Legend Hailley. Legend Hailley eased and lost considerable ground at the 150m mark. Abalone Fozz tired over the concluding stages.
Abalone Fozz underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Legend Hailley underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasions to the right elbow and left stopper . A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms Pia Triaca, regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 150m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Legend Hailley was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Triaca pleaded guilty to the charge, Legand Hailley must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to licenced catcher Mr Brayden Meachem and issued a warning in regard to his failure to provide a catcher for the greyhound Legend Hailley (GAR86(o))
