Flying Banjo, Tinker Cass, Kiewa Lady and Lachie's Legacy were slow to begin.

Flying Banjo and Kiewa Lady collided soon after the start. Spot On Mick raced wide soon after the start and collided with Mane Toy severely checking Mane Toy. Spot On Mick and Tinker Cass collided at the 250m mark and again approaching the 200m mark and again approaching the 100m mark. Spot On Mick and Flying Banjo collided at the 100m mark. Cute Patootie eased at the 50m mark.

Cute Patootie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike injury to the right hock, a no stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer V. Gay, regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Cute Patootie was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Gay pleaded guilty to the charge, Cute Patootie must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Kiewa Lady underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion the the rear right hock, no stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr A. Broadley, the representative of Kiewa Lady regarding its performance throughout the event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Kiewa Lady must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Ferny Flat Miss - the winner of the event.

Abbey Siobhan – New declared weight of 30.8kgs last raced at 29.1kgs.

Gunmandu, Angus Abalone and Legend Spy were slow to begin. 

Gunmandu crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Legend Spy and Legend Hailley. Legend Hailley eased and lost considerable ground at the 150m mark. Abalone Fozz tired over the concluding stages.

Abalone Fozz underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Legend Hailley underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasions to the right elbow and left stopper . A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms Pia Triaca, regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 150m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Legend Hailley was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms Triaca pleaded guilty to the charge, Legand Hailley must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to licenced catcher Mr Brayden Meachem and issued a warning in regard to his failure to provide a catcher for the greyhound Legend Hailley (GAR86(o))

Tears In Eyes and Mt. View Gift collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark. Tough Like Atom and Stray Cat collided approaching the 200m mark checking Stray Cat and Ruby's Rosa. Tears In Eyes and Pizza Shop collided at the 100m mark checking Tears In Eyes.

A pre-race sample was taken from My Mate Flash.

Super Attitude, Tim Tam Sam and Rim Of Fire were slow to begin.

Ted's Dream and Ray Shoesmith collided at the 200m mark. Tim Tam Sam checked off My Mate Flash approaching the 150m mark. Ray Shoesmith crossed to the rail at the 100 m mark checking My Mate Flash. As Only Is crossed to the outside approaching the 50m mark.

Jumbo Bale and Rhomboid were slow to begin. 

Jumbo Bale crossed to the outside soon after the start. Early Storm crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark checking Cash Reality. Rhomboid, Crash Reality and All Inn Tara collided at the 100m mark checking Crash Reality and All Inn Tara.

Bring The Spring - Late scratching at 9.44am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr J. Hetherton was fined $100.

Western Bomber was vetted at the starting boxes prior to the running of the event after the greyhound showed signs of lameness. Western Bomber was subsequently scratched at 12.19pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to lameness to the left foreleg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Due to the late scratching of Western Bomber this event was delayed by approximately 6 minutes.

Sense was slow to begin.

Fly By Them checked off Rhino Rex at the 200m mark. All Inn Tyler, Solar Charge and Fly By Them collided approaching the winning post.

This event was rescheduled to start at 12.44pm.

Pergamon was slow to begin. 

Miss Hanna Berry, Pergamon and Crackerjack Mick collided soon after the start checking Miss Hanna Berry and severely checking Crackerjack Mick. Miss Hanna Berry, Pergamon and Zipping Ruby collided approaching the 250m mark.

Where's Lola underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Banjo's Affair was slow to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start. Lady Bang Bang and Montey Jack collided soon after the start. Tommy Time and Off An' Gone collided soon after the start. Lady Bang Bang, Montey Jack and Tommy Time collided at the 300m mark.

This event was rescheduled to 1.17pm.

Toby Sure was slow to begin. 

Tricky Tron and Early Express collided soon after the start. Usain Beast and Tinker Buzz collided soon after the start and again at the 100m mark. Knocka Feller and Usain Beast collided approaching the winning post.

Secret Service and Dyna Elise collided at the 250m mark. Sweet Ambush and Holly's Affair collided at the 250m mark. Dawn To Dusk and Sweet Ambush collided at the 200m mark. Zipping Brandy crossed to the outside at the 200m mark. Zipping Brandy and Secret Service collided at the 100m mark. Zipping Brandy checked off Secret Service approaching the 50m mark.

Lord Davinci - Late scratching at 10.07am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an elevated temperature. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

This event was rescheduled to start at 1.57pm.

I'm Circus was slow to begin.

I'm Circus faltered at the 250m mark and pulled up. Zambora Cash and Quest Allen collided at the 150m mark.

I'm Circus underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suspected fracture to the left hock. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Tennyson Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a toe injury to the left foreleg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track at the 250m area and deemed it satisfactory for racing.

This event was rescheduled to start at 2.15pm.
