Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff, at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Aston Barney was slow to begin. Mad Goosey and Lead The Parade collided soon after the start. Leo's My Champ galloped on Dutch Ambition on the first turn checking Mad Goosey and Too Far Bro. Too Far Bro and Aston Barney collided on the home turn. 

Mepunga Sparkle – New declared weight of 28.6kgs, last raced at 29.8kgs.

Ginger Bar was slow to begin. Marvaha Bale turned its head inward soon after the start. Dewana Degoey and Dewana Step collided approaching the first turn. Ginger Bar and Mepunga Sparkle collided on the first turn checking Mepunga Sparkle, Kenita and Marvaha Bale. Mepunga Sparkle and Marvaha Bale collided entering the home straight. Marvaha Bale marred Kenita on the home turn. 

Marvaha Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Mark Delbridge, regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Marvaha Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Delbridge pleaded not guilty to the charge, Marvaha Bale was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cruisy's Special, Soda Girl and Garage Sale collided soon after the start. Cruisy's Special, Soda Girl and Ignite The Stars collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Garage Sale and Ignite The Stars collided entering the home straight. Cruisy's Special and Soda Girl collided in the home straight. 

Aston Ensley underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer and was found to have a left hind sesamoid injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Sir Duke, Havilah Kid and Eastside collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Eastside and Spring Party collided entering the home straight. 

A pre-race sample was taken from With Confidence. 

Aston Squire was slow to begin.  Ducky's Delight and There's A Catch collided on the first turn. Unique Quality and There's A Catch collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. 

A post-race sample was taken from Cornhill Tiger - the winner of the event. 

Bandwagon, Prince Cody, Show Of Force and Atlantic Jewel collided on the  first turn checking all four greyhounds. Revelation and Aston Lopez collided approaching the winning post. 

Lance Link and Slingshot Hammer collided on the home turn. Typhoon Tessie and Perfect Rocky collided entering the home straight. Slingshot Hammer galloped on Typhoon Tessie in the home straight checking both greyhounds. 

Chasin' Bobbi was quick to begin. Brady's Shout and Kraken Dust were slow to begin.  Apex Within checked off Aston Perignon on the first turn. Brady's Shout checked off Black Treasure on the first turn checking Priority Pass. Apex Within lost ground on the second turn. 

Apex Within underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock sprain and injuries to the right wrist, right monkey muscle and right triangle muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Olson Bale - Late scratching at 10.59 am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a spike wound to the left hind toes. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Begonia Bale - Late scratching at 11.08am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left fore sesamoid injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Kraken Champ. 

Space Alert and Newtown Angel collided on the first turn and again on the home turn. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Ivoria Bale. 

Nera Enough and Gunmetal Liam collided soon after the start. Our Manny checked off Ivoria Bale on the first turn. Ivoria Bale checked off Johnny Wishbone on the first turn. Aston Zephyr and My Mate Flash collided entering the home straight. 

Gala Bale and Super Panda collided soon after the start. Know Success checked off East Street approaching the first turn. Side Splitting raced wide entering the home straight checking Gala Bale. 

Super Panda underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 12 and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from East Street - the winner of the event. 

No Degree was slow to begin. 

Kiwi Swagger checked off Blackpool Pantha approaching the first turn. Kiwi Swagger checked off No Degree on the first turn. Ko Rapid Jack galloped on Mepunga Doyle on the home turn checking both greyhounds. 

Ko Rapid Jack underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadriceps muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
