It's All Luck - Late scratching at 10.32am when Mrs Phillis Brown reported the greyhound to be injured - lameness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from All Hollywood.
Teardrop and My Era Rico were slow to begin. Teardrop, My Era Rico and What Price Mason collided soon after the start. All Hollywood, My Era Rico and Nan Moffitt collided on the first turn severely checking Nan Moffitt which collided with What Price Mason as a result causing What Price Mason to fall. All Hollywood and Teardrop collided on the home turn. Bag Of Tricks and Teardrop collided approaching the winning post.
What Price Mason underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left wrist. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Nan Moffit underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right shoulder and right back muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
