Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff, at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Fine Tactics and Twin Pick were slow to begin.  Bowled Underarm and Lord Disick collided soon after the start.  Twin Pick checked off Lord Disick approaching the first turn.  Bowled Underarm checked off Indian Shadow approaching the first turn.  Fine Tactics checked off Twin Pick approaching the first turn.  Twin Pick, Lord Disick, Bowled Underarm and Zulu Walk collided on the first turn.  Bowled Underarm checked off Lord Disick on the second turn.  Bowled Underarm checked off Zulu Walk entering the back straight.  Zulu Walk checked off Lord Disick in the back straight.  Fine Tactics, Bowled Underarm and Zulu Walk collided on the home turn checking Zulu Walk.

Zulu Walk was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound suffered from diarrhoea, no stand down period was imposed.

Jagger's Joss checked off Dustification approaching the second turn.  Alamosa Bill and Burn Time collided on the second turn.  Rockstar Gately checked off Rockstar Lincoln on the second turn and raced wide in the back straight.  Jagger's Joss and Dustification collided on the third turn checking both greyhounds.  Jagger's Joss, Mepunga Mila, Dustification and Rockstar Gately collided on the home turn checking Jagger's Joss and Dustification.

Speed Force and Nunniong Plain were slow to begin.  Dyna Smokey crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Speed Force.  Zipping Lena, Dyna Smokey and Dyna Unther collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Smokey.  Zipping Lena, Dyna Unther and Nunniong Plain collided on the first turn checking Zipping Lena and Dyna Smokey.  Dyna Smokey contacted the running rail as a result.  Dyna Unther and Nunniong Plain collided on the second turn.  Dyna Smokey and Zipping Lena collided entering the back straight.  Dyna Unther checked off Zipping Lena on the third turn.

Havana Miss and Ella Enchanted were quick to begin.  True Detective, Road To Success, Franki Jay and Bourbski Bar collided on the first turn checking Road To Success, Franki Jay and Bourbski Bar.  Gwydion and Ella Enchanted collided on the second turn checking Ella Enchanted and Keeper Of Keys.  True Detective raced wide approaching the second turn.  Gwydion checked off Havana Miss entering the back straight, severely checking Keeper Of Keys.  Ella Enchanted and Havana Miss collided in the back straight.  Gwydion and Road To Success collided in the back straight checking Gwydion.  Bourbski checked off Ella Enchanted approaching the third turn.  Gwydion checked off Bourbski Bar on the home turn checking Havana Miss.  Road To Success and Franki Jay collided entering the home straight.

Red Rochelle crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Montaya, Lucy's Milo, Rising Moon, Zipping Clifford, Bisenti and Blinken Billy.  Rising Moon checked off Lucy's Milo in the front straight.  Zipping Clifford and Red Rochelle collided on the second turn.  Montaya and Blinken Billy collided on the third turn.  Lucy's Milo and Bisenti collided on the fourth turn checking Bisenti and Red Rochelle.  Montaya and Red Rochelle collided entering the home straight.

Weblec Jack and Aston Silk were quick to begin.  Mullion Mayor, Rockstar Gareth and Dyna Virion collided soon after the start.  Mullion Mayor and Dyna Virion collided on the first turn checking Rockstar Gareth, severely checking Mullion Mayor.

Mullion Mayor was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Fabriola Zad underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.

Chun Li was slow to begin.  Stirling Lights checked off Back Burn soon after the start.  Rockstar Stanley, Back Burn, Stirling Lights, Fabriola Zad and Chun Li collided approaching the first turn.  Fabriola Zad and Chun Li collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Back Burn checked off Stirling Lights approaching the third turn.  Back Burn visibly eased approaching the home turn and collided with Stirling LIghts and Chun Li, severely checking Stirling Lights which tailed off as a result.

Stirling Lights was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a disclocation to the right foreleg toe, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Back Burn was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 12.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Representative, Mr D. Pell.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Back Burn was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Pell pleaded guilty to the charge.  Back Burn must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zipping Hamish was slow to begin.  Lily Pad, Arlington and Baby Eden collided soon after the start checking Arlington.  I'm A Krakouer, Callister and Lily Pad collided on the first turn checking Callister, Lily Pad and Baby Eden.  I'm A Krakouer and Weblec Spice collided on the third turn.  Arlington checked off Callister on the third turn checking Lily Pad.

Stewards issued a warning to the handler of Baby Eden, Ms S. Swan, to box her greyhound in a timely manner.

Gettysburg, Zipping Marshall, Mohinga Chase and Major Pursuit were slow to begin.  Gettysburg, Zipping Marshall and Mohinga Chase collided soon after the start.  Pair Of Nines, Always Ho Ho, Gettysburg, Zipping Marshall, Mohinga Chase, Elvisa Bale and Cool Bourbski collided on the first turn checking Elvisa Bale, Major Pursuit, Gettysburg and Mohinga Chase, severely checking Pair Of Nines and Always Ho Ho.  Gettysburg checked off Pair Of Nines entering the back straight.  Always Ho Ho and Gettysburg collided on the third turn.  Elvisa Bale checked off Major Pursuit in the home straight and collided with Mohinga Chase.
