Spring Fair and Zambora Lou were quick to begin. Aston Thunder was slow to begin.
Why Not Luv and Dirty Max collided soon after the start. Why Not Luv checked off Manila Knight approaching the first turn. Aston Thunder and One Night Only collided on the first turn.

MEETING COMMENTS:
Investigative Steward Mr. K. Branton conducted a GRV licence (certificate of registration) check of all catchers in accordance with LR 16.2 at the start of this meeting, all were compliant except Mr. B. Meachem. Stewards subsequently charged Mr. Meachem with a breach of Local Rule 16.2, after he failed to produce his GRV licence when requested to do so by Investigative Steward Mr. K. Branton. Mr Meachem pleaded guilty to the charge and was issued a fine of $100.00.
