Steward's Report
Further enhancements have been made by Stewards around social distancing with COVID-19. In accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed the Starter to box the greyhounds in a single file boxing process, commencing with box 1, followed by 2, followed by 3, followed by 4, followed by 5, followed by 6, followed by 7, followed by 8. Essentially 1 through 8 in single file. All handlers will be 2m back from the handler in front.
Koko Kardash – Late scratching at 8:36am when Mr. J. Ennis reported the greyhound to have an injury. (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Neymar Junior, Doughnut and Deadly Walk collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Deadly Walk brushed the running rail on the first turn.
