Lumen Scar - Late scratching at 17:25 when Mr M Marshall requested to withdraw the greyhound from this event. As the reason for the application to scratch did not specifically fall under the provisions of GAR 23, a 10-day stand down period was imposed which will be subject to review by the Chief Steward, upon application. 

The start of this event was delayed approximately three minutes due to remedial work being performed on the track. 

My Faith and Rapid Faith were slow to begin. Cawbourne Archy was very slow to begin (4L).

Rapid Faith crossed to the running rail soon after the start. Vanna Bale and Rapid Faith collided approaching the home turn. Aston Wings and Rapid Faith collided in the home straight.

Vanna Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a minor laceration under a left fore toe and a left triangle muscle injury. A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Red Curry and Blackpool Grace collided soon after the start, checking Red Curry. Verne Bale galloped on the heels of Red Curry on the first turn, checking Red Curry. Verne Bale checked off Cawbourne Blaze in the home straight. Red Curry and Verne Bale raced wide in the home straight.

Anubis Al underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to both trapezius muscles. A five day stand down period was imposed.

Blackpool Pantha underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a sprain of the right wrist. A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Triskelion underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted following race 7. No apparent injury could be detected.

Gray Gray Goose - Late scratching at 9:49 on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to diarrhea. A ten day stand down period was imposed

Jayla Bale - Late scratching at 9:49 on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to diarrhea. A ten day stand down period was imposed. 

Gotham Princess turned its head outwards and marred According soon after the start.

Gotham Princess underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a minor abraision to the right toe, no stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mrs M Lithgow, the trainer of Gotham Princess regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Gotham Princess was charged with marring. Mrs M Lithgow pleaded guilty to the charge, Gotham Princess is suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Barabdos Dream was slow to begin.
