Steward's Report
Lumen Scar - Late scratching at 17:25 when Mr M Marshall requested to withdraw the greyhound from this event. As the reason for the application to scratch did not specifically fall under the provisions of GAR 23, a 10-day stand down period was imposed which will be subject to review by the Chief Steward, upon application.
The start of this event was delayed approximately three minutes due to remedial work being performed on the track.
My Faith and Rapid Faith were slow to begin. Cawbourne Archy was very slow to begin (4L).
Rapid Faith crossed to the running rail soon after the start. Vanna Bale and Rapid Faith collided approaching the home turn. Aston Wings and Rapid Faith collided in the home straight.
Vanna Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a minor laceration under a left fore toe and a left triangle muscle injury. A seven day stand down period was imposed.
