A sample was taken from Blackpool Remi upon arrival at the course.
Blackpool Remi was quick to begin.
Mabel's Fire and Vampire Vixen collided on the first turn severely checking Mabel's Fire. Fawn Regrets and Blackpool Remi collided on the first turn checking Blackpool Remi. Mabel's Fire checked off Blackpool Remi entering the home straight.
Mabel's Fire underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
