In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was  23 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.0 degrees. 

Stewards extended closure of kennelling to 6.01pm after receiving a confirmed telephone call from Trainer, Mr Jason Stemmer, stating that he would be delayed due to a vehicle accident en route to the track.

The start of this event was delayed approximately two minutes due to an operational error.

Terka Wye went up with the lids. Joffa's Mayhem and Little Mug were slow to begin.

Terka Wyne, Marli Ann and Little Mug collided approaching the home turn, checking Marli Ann and Little Mug. Terka Wyne raced wide entering the home straight.

A post-race sample was taken from Little Mug - the winner of the event.

The Judge inadvertently semaphored 6 as the winner, before correcting to 8-6-4-1. After which time the all clear was given.

Winsome Fashion and Hillbilly Road were quick to begin.

Winsome Fashion raced wide soon after the start checking Nitro Roxy and Victor Ludorum. Winsome Fashion checked off Skibo Rebel on the first turn. Winsome Fashion and Nitro Roxy collided approaching the home turn checking Nitro Roxy. Hillbilly Road and Skibo Rebel collided entering the home straight causing Hillbilly Road to stumble and lose ground. Winsome Fashion turned its head inwards and collided with Hillbilly Road in the home straight. Winsome Fashion and Hillbilly Road collided several times in the home straight.

Hillbilly Road underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to left flexor tendon and left triangle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Winsome Fashion underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left wrist, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to handler Mr N. Lenehan, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Winsome Fashion was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Lenehan pleaded guilty to the charge, Winsome Fashion must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Joker's Mate – Late scratching at 2.33pm when representative Mr D.Drew reported the greyhound to have an illness. (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

A sample was taken from Hook Along Mint upon arrival at the course.

Burst Of Yap and Oz Wizard were slow to begin.

Hook Along Mint checked off Saint Tess on the first turn. Burst Of Yap and Oz Wizard collided approaching the home turn checking Oz Wizard. Uno Hostile checked off Hook Along Mint entering the home straight.

Thomeli Boy was quick to begin.

Zambora Andy and Jackie Dee collided soon after the start checking Zambora Andy. Bay Me checked off Thomeli Boy approaching the home turn. Thomeli Boy raced wide in the home straight.

The start of this event was delayed approximately due to a sky channel committment to the Shepparton Greyhounds.

On Key and Aston Moscato collided approaching the winning post checking On Key.

A post-race sample was taken from Cacophony - the winner of the event.

Harsh Jude went up with the lids at box rise and lost ground. Aston Express, Piper's Unicorn and Comrade collided approaching the first turn checking Piper's Unicorn. Aston Express and Piper's Unicorn raced wide in the home straight.

A sample was taken from Aston Stock upon arrival at the course.

Saint Rufus was very slow to begin (3L).

Jayla Strike and Aston Stock collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Aston Stock raced wide entering the home straight.

Numero Uno and Jackson Abby collided soon after the start. Aston Pirate, Numero Uno and Jackson Abby collided on the first turn checking Numero Uno and Jackson Abby. Jackson Abby checked off Numero Uno approaching the home turn.

Victoria's Kara was quick to begin.

Rixy Ya Pest and Lulumon collided on the first turn checking Lulmon. Mepunga Bella and Lulumon collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Victoria's Kara and Startron collided in the home straight.

Artpop and Khlo Money were slow to begin.

Foxzami Raptor and Moraine Hayley collided on the first turn checking Moraine Hayley. Foxzami Raptor and Young Jebrynah collided entering the home straight checking Young Jebrynah. Artpop clipped the heels of Young Jebrynah in the home straight.

Artpop underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

A sample was taken from Blackpool Remi upon arrival at the course.

Blackpool Remi was quick to begin.

Mabel's Fire and Vampire Vixen collided on the first turn severely checking Mabel's Fire. Fawn Regrets and Blackpool Remi collided on the first turn checking Blackpool Remi. Mabel's Fire checked off Blackpool Remi entering the home straight. 

Mabel's Fire underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right monkey muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Oshkosh Nar and Here Comes Tom collided soon after the start checking Oshkosh Nar. Here Comes Tom and Keeping Busy collided on the first turn checking Here Comes Tom. Raging Rampant and Let's Go Sally collided approaching the home turn checking Let's Go Sally. Oshkosh Nar checked off Let's Go Sally entering the home straight. Let's Go Sally raced wide in the home straight.

The Judge incorrectly semaphored this Event as displaying Race 11 with an incorrect time of 11:10.73. This was subsequently corrected and amended to display Race 12 with a manual  time of 21.94 after which  the all clear was given.
