Rall's Girl and Dewana Degoey collided soon after the start.  Larrakeyah Lady and He Shall Power collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking He Shall Power, Unrivalled Dusty, Rall's Girl and Dewana Degoey, Rall's Girl and Dewana Degoey raced wide as a result.  He Shall Power checked off Larrakeyah Lady on the home turn.  One Night Only and Limburg Nemesis collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Unrivalled Dusty raced wide on the home turn.  

Artemisia went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Jay Bird and Shots Fired collided soon after the start.  Kalyeeda and Skinny La La collided on the first turn checking Skinny La La.  Mostro Rocks and Shots Fired collided on the first turn and again on the second turn checking Mostro Rocks and Revolution.  Artemisia brushed the running rail entering the back straight.  Artemisia checked off Jay Bird on the third turn.

Dundee Jazz was quick to begin.

Mindil Beach and Finniss Vision collided approaching the first turn checking Mindil Beach.  Galloping Occy, Finniss Vision and Barefoot Barry collided on the first turn checking Galloping Occy and Finniss Vision.  Galloping Occy and Finniss Vision collided entering the front straight.

Broadway Bullet, Valletta Sky and Whatever I Want collided soon after the start checking Valletta Sky and Whatever I Want.  Crown Simba and Custom Illusion collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Valletta Sky and Custom Illusion collided in the back straight checking both greyhounds.  Broadway Bullet, Lighting Beach and Fonzarelli collided on the home turn checking all three greyhounds.  Lightning Beach checked off Fonzarelli on the home turn.  Fonzarelli tired over the concluding stages and collided with Broadway Bullet checking Fonzarelli.  

Custom Illusion underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A pre-race sample was taken from Darkest Tears.

Midnight Titan, Dreamin' Is Free, Zipping Hazel, Dearest Tears and Moonie Convoy collided on the first turn checking Midnight Titan, Dreamin' Is Free, Zipping Hazel, Dearest Tears, Moonie Convoy and New Punchline.  Zipping Hazel visibly eased, turned its head outwards and contacted Moonie Convoy approaching the winning post.

Zipping Hazel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle, left hamstring injuries and bruising to the right tibia, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr A. Farley, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Zipping Hazel was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Farley pleaded guilty to the charge, Zipping Hazel must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Midnight Titan underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident entering the catching pen - no apparent injury was reported.

Bubbles and Arlington were slow to begin.

Captain Jake and Everything I Do collided on the first turn checking Everything I Do.  Bubbles and Crackerjack Fish collided on the first turn checking Bubbles.  Everything I Do and Crackerjack Fish collided in the back straight checking Crackerjack Fish.  Crackerjack Fish and Captain Jake collided on the third turn checking Captain Jake.  Everything I Do and Crackerjack Fish collided in the home straight checking Everything I Do.  

Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Lure Driver Mr C Chilcott did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Parzival was slow to begin.

Unwanted Lady, Chill Out Webby, Burning Eddy and Reichman collided soon after the start checking Burning Eddy.  They Love Me and Small Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Small Rose.  Unwanted Lady checked off Chill Out Webby on the first turn.  Parzival galloped on Small Rose on the first turn checking Small Rose.  Burning Eddy and Parzival collided on the second turn.  They Love Me and Hip Hippy Shake collided in the back straight.  Burning Eddy checked off Hip Hippy Shake on the third turn severely checking Burning Eddy and Parzival.  

Post-race samples were taken from placegetters - Unwanted Lady (1st) and Chill Out Webby (2nd).

Busy Bella was slow to begin.

Busy Bella crossed in soon after the start and collided with Kissable and Fourth Dimention. Bobby The Brute and Busy Bella collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Fourth Dimention checked off Busy Bella approaching the second turn.  

King Lorrimer and Sprightly Fabio were slow to begin.

King Lorrimer checked off Brocky approaching the first turn.  King Lorrimer galloped on Rising Moon on the first turn checking King Lorrimer, Rising Moon and Dybala.  Sprightly Fabio and King Lorrimer collided in the back straight checking King Lorrimer.  King Lorrimer and Sprightly Fabio collided in the home straight checking Sprightly Fabio.  

Dybala underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped in the catching pen. No stand down perod ws imposed.

Kiss Me Razley – Late scratching at 12.30pm when Mr G Mannion reported the greyhound to have right wrist injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. Mr Mannion advised Stewards that he was unable to scratch the greyhound on fasttrack and attempted to contact GRV head office this morning but was unsuccessful.

A pre-race sample was taken from Max Pick.

As Only Is and Mr. Rain Maker collided soon after the start.  Max Pick and Cosmic Chieftain collided soon after the start.  As Only Is, Cosmic Chieftain and Valletta Mist collided on the first turn.  Mr. Rain Maker checked off As Only Is on the first turn causing Mr. Rain Maker and Max Pick to race wide.  Oddjob Lad and Macs Road collided approaching the second turn.  As Only Is, Macs Road and Valletta Mist collided on the second turn checking all three greyhounds and causing Valletta Mist and Max Pick to collide severely checking both greyhounds.
