Steward's Report
Acting in accordance with the GRV Lightning and Thunderstorm Safety Procedure, racing was delayed due to lightning strikes and thunder storms in the area, Stewards contacted BOM and acting on advice, racing was re scheduled to start at 7.27pm.
Before the commencement of race 1 the track was inspected by stewards and deemed suitable for racing.
Vanna Bale was quick to begin. Talking Numbers was very slow to begin (4L).
Unsolved Mystery, Baileys And Milk and Lil Miss Shooter collided soon after the start, checking Baileys And Milk and Lil Miss Shooter. Baileys And Milk and Lil Miss Shooter collided on the first turn, checking Baileys And Milk and severely checking Lil Miss Shooter. Vanna Bale checked off Floppy Roo approaching the home turn.
