Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Jay Bird on 21/10/19 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Moroka Magic was slow to begin. One Babe and French Sugar collided soon after the start checking One Babe. Moroka Magic and French Sugar collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Jay Bird, Declassified and Agent Donuts collided approaching the first turn checking Jay Bird, Declassified and Filorga Bale. Declassified and Agent Donuts collided on the first turn severely checking Declassified and checking Agent Donuts. French Sugar, Declassified and Filorga Bale collided approaching the home turn checking all three greyhounds. Agent Donuts faltered on the home turn, lost ground and subsequently tailed off. Moroka Magic raced wide on the home turn. Filorga Bale crossed out in the home straight and collided several times with Declassified checking both greyhounds.
Aeroplane Eric underwent a post race veterinary examination on the request of the trainer and no apparent injury was reported.
Agent Donuts underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left elbow. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A post race sample was taken from Aeroplane Eric - winner of the event.
