Track Curator Mr T. Godfrey advised that the track was deeply harrowed on October 13, 2019.

Due to significant rain in the area, stewards along with track staff inspected the track during and after kennelling to determine the safety of the surface. As a result, all races went back one race, to allow track staff to adequately prepare the track for racing after a significant downfall of rain. 

Subsequent to the inspection, stewards downgraded the track to ”slow”.

The last race was rescheduled to 11:12.

Inter Santina and Jennifer Eccles were quick to begin.

Inter Santina and Optimus Dusty collided on the first turn.  Ernesto Bale and Chillin collided on the first turn.  Inter Santina and Optimus Dusty collided on the second turn and again on the third turn.  Inter Santina, Chillin and Twisted Reality collided approaching the home turn.  Inter Santina and Lektra Fireball collided entering the home straight.

Han Solo - Late scratching at 6.37pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a laceration to the left stifle and elbow. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

I'm The Poppet and Crackerjack Daza were quick to begin.  My Word Shirley was slow to begin.

Extreme Justice turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the race.  My Word Shirley checked off Go Tango on the first turn.  Go Tango and Water Colour collided in the front straight.  I'm The Poppet, Crackerjack Daza and Silver Smarty collided approaching the second turn checking Crackerjack Daza and Silver Smarty.  I'm The Poppet, Crackerjack Daza and Silver Smarty collided approaching the third turn checking I'm The Poppet, Crackerjack Daza, Silver Smarty and Water Colour.  I'm The Poppet and Crackerjack Dza collided entering the back straight checking I'm The Poppet, Crackerjack Daza and Water Colour causing I'm The Poppet to gallop on Silver Smarty.

Extreme Justice underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Extreme Justice -Turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the race. Placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 52(1).

A post-race sample was taken from I'm The Poppet - winner of the event. 

Out of competition samples were taken from Riddles on October 14, 2019 and Avalanche October 15, 2019 pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was taken from Riddles.

Say Hi, Avalanche and Locked In collided soon after the start.  Avalanche and Undisputed collided approaching the first turn.  Say Hi, What's Up Skip, Riddles and Sudden Force collided on the first turn checking Avalanche, Sudden Force and severely checking Undisputed, Riddles and Weeona Pete, Riddles fell as a result and tailed off.  Avalanche checked off What's Up Skip approaching the second turn.  Locked In and What's Up Skip collided on the third turn. 

Riddles underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Locked In underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a dislocated left hind toe. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards directed that a post race sample was to be taken from Locked In, the winner of the event; however the sample was aborted due to an injury the greyhound sustained that required immediate pain releif prescribed from the On Track Veterinarian. 

Cabin Fever was slow to begin.

Van Wilson, Hadarah Bale and Kraken Dust collided soon after the start checking Hadarah Bale and Kraken Dust.  Rockstar Prince and True Detective collided soon after the start checking True Detective.  Kraken Dust crossed in on the first turn checking Rockstar Prince, Van Wilson and Cabin Fever.  Van Wilson and Cabin Fever collided approaching the fifth turn checking Van Wilson.  True Detective checked off Hadarah Bale entering the home straight.  

An out of competition sample was taken from Shanlyn Magic on October 17, 2019 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Molly Coaster was slow to begin.

Molly Coaster and O'Sullivan collided soon after the start.  Kraken Lightning, Miss Hanigan and Shanlyn Magic collided soon after the start checking Miss Hanigan.  Molly Coaster crossed in approaching the first turn and checked off Miss Hanigan.  Kiss Me Nicki and Head Loch collided on the first turn checking Kiss Me Nicki.  Kraken Lightning and Shanlyn Magic collided on the first turn checking Shanlyn Magic and Head Loch.  O'Sullivan crossed in approaching the second turn severely checking Miss Hanigan, checking Molly Coaster.  Shanlyn Magic and Head Loch collided on the second turn.  Molly Coaster checked of O'Sullivan in the back straight.  Head Loch and O'Sullivan collided in the back straight.  Shanlyn Magic and O'Sullivan collided approaching the winning post.

Weeona Roger, Mister Harlewood and King Colt collided soon after the start.  Red Rock, Lektra Zephyr and Busy Bella collided soon after the start.  Weeona Roger checked off Mister Harlewood approaching the first turn.  Weeona Roger and Red Rock collided on the first turn.  Mister Harlewood and Busy Bella collided on the first turn.  Mister Harlewood galloped on All Inn Baz in the back straight.  King Colt and Circle Of Dreams collided on the home turn.

Black Signature - Late scratching at 6.28pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left hind split webbing. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Chief Fernando were quick to begin.

Max Tractor, Lucy's Milo, Roper River Jake and Eight Ball collided on the first turn checking Lucy's Milo, Roper River Jake and Broken Promise.  Lucy's Milo and Roper River Jake collided entering the home straight.  

A post-race sample was taken from Eight Ball - winner of the event.

Spring Bridge and Weblec King were slow to begin.

Mogo Jet and Lektra Spring collided on the first turn.  Lektra Spring and Bourbski Bar collided approaching the second turn.  Weblec King, Lektra Spring and Charlie Cockatoo collided on the home turn.  Mogo Jet and Bourbski Bar collided in the home straight.  

A post-race sample was taken from Mepunga Maggie - winner of the event. 

Sunny's Kayo and Dyna Garner were quick.  Aston Peregrine, Apex Within and Rockstar Beav were slow to begin.

Aston Peregrine, Apex Within and Go Seek Heidi collided on the first turn checking Apex Within.  Sunny's Kayo and Kiomara collided entering the front straight checking Kiomara.  Sunny's Kayo and Gwydion collided entering the back straight checking Sunny's Kayo.  Apex Within checked off Sunny's Kayo approaching the fourth turn severely checking Kiomara, causing Kiomara to fall as a result.  Dyna Garner checked off Gwydion on the fourth turn checking Go Seek Heidi.  Go Seek Heidi and Dyna Garner collided on the home turn.

Kiomara underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent was reported.

Priority Pass and Tezzalenko were quick to begin.

Sideshow Marjen and For The Alliance collided soon after the start.  For The Alliance and Oxley One collided soon after the start checking For The Alliance.  Tezzalenko and Zemira Mikado collided on the first turn checking Zemira Mikado.  For The Alliance checked off Zemira Mikado approaching the second turn.  Shima Rock and Tezzalenko collided on the second turn checking Tezzalenko.  Mitch Bale and Oxley One collided on the home turn.  Mitch Bale and For The Alliance collided entering the home straight checking For The Alliance.  

Lonnie Mach was quick to begin.  Blazing Hype and Lochinvar Dues were slow to begin.

Blazing Hype checked off Steinbrenner on the first turn.  Vesper Bale and Zipping Clifford collided on the first turn.  Lektra Perry and Steinbrenner collided on the first turn.  Zipping Clifford raced wide on the second turn.  Talulah Bale raced wide on the second and third turns.  Blazing Hype checked off Zipping Clifford on the third turn checking Lochinvar Deus.  Zipping Clifford, Steinbrenner and Lektra Perry collided approaching the fourth turn checking Steinbrenner.  Lektra Perry and Taulah Bale collided approaching the winning post.

Cee Me Snoop and Imperial Jack were slow to begin.

Springvale Misty and Mahjong Nickel collided on the first turn.  Cee Me Snoop contatced the running rail on the first turn.  Max Dynamo checked off Spring Trick on the first turn causing Max Dynamo to race wide.  Max Dynamo checked off Little Tubbsy in the back straight.  Cee Me Snoop and Little Tubbsy collided on the home turn.  

Cee Me Snoop underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Max Dynamo, Mr Mark McClelland regarding the greyhound's performance in tonight's event. Mr McClelland stated that although he was initially disappointed with the effort, he believed the greyhound may have felt his injury going into the second turn, which caused him to race wide and lose significant ground. Stewards accepted Mr McClelland's explanation, and acting on their own observations as well as taking into account the On Track Vet report, stewards took no further action.
