Cullquin Finn and All Inn Turbo collided soon after the start. Cal's Girl and Cool Story Bro collided soon after the start checking All Inn Barty. All Inn Turbo and Lady Audacious collided soon after the start. All Inn Turbo checked off Cal's Girl at the 300m mark.

Cool Story Bro underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following Race 4, no apparent injury could be detected. Stewards spoke to Mr T. Churchill, the trainer of Cool Story Bro and acting under GAR 75 (1) Stewards ordered Mr Churchill to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Cool Story Bro in the event which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

David's Way and Spot On Mick collided at the 300m mark checking David's Way. Maximum Capers and Cullquin Elijah collided at the 200m mark. David's Way and Anyone Arby collided at the 100m mark checking Anyone Arby.

Banjo's Affair and Harvey Warbanger collided at the 250m mark. Typhoon Tessie and Mr. Vinnie collided at the 50m mark.

Totolo crossed out soon after the start and collided with Briar Jet checking Totolo. One Thrill and Big Sam Marjen collided soon after the start. Big Sam Marjen clipped the heels of Kentucky Sun at the 300m mark. Kentucky Sun checked off Madonya at the 200m mark. One Thrill and Madonya collided at the 100m mark.

A post-race sample was taken from Big Sam Marjen - the winner of the event.

Stewards opened and adjourned an Enquiry in relation to the preparation of Big Sam Marjen engaged in this event.

All Inn Tyler crossed to the rail soon after the start. Where's Lola checked off Undetectable at the 200m mark. Lightning Parade checked off Back Ya Self approaching the winning post.

I'm Circus crossed to the outside soon after the start. Bobbie Cristalle crossed to the rail soon after the start. Geller Allen, Tarika Tara and Got It Right collided at the 300m mark checking Geller Allen. Millie's Angel checked off Jugungal Black approaching the 150m mark. Got It Right and Bobbie Cristalle collided approaching the winning post.

Bobbie Cristalle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right hind toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Unexplainable crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Pookie Smurf. Time Twister and Rippa Regis collided at the 250m mark. Rippa Regis, Unexplainable and Pookie Smurf collided at the 200m mark checking Unexplainable and Pookie Smurf. Banyuatis checked off Pookie Smurf at the 200m mark and crossed to the outside.

A pre-race sample was taken from Outta My Depth.

Orazzi Ohh faltered at the 250m mark and tailed off. Electric Hippy crossed to the rail approaching the 100m mark.

Orazzi Ohh underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right calf muscle and the left pencil muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Stewards contacted Trainer, Mr Wayne Boreland, regarding the late withdrawals of three out of his seven greyhounds engaged at the Healesville meeting today.  Mr Boreland told the Stewards that the greyhounds had been separated by two kennel areas and believed that the three greyhounds withdrawn became ill from a new and different batch of meat fed from the other greyhounds.  Stewards directed the on-course Veterinarian, Dr Andrew Kalinowski, examine the remaining four greyhounds presented today before proceeding through the kennelling process.  Dr Kalinowski was satisfied with the condition of the greyhounds and passed them fit to start.
