Velocity Sunrise - New declared weight of 27.6kg, last raced at 26.2kg.
Dundee Jazz was quick to begin. Black Panda, Tippa, Winlock Winner, All This Mayhem, Dundee Jazz and Velocity Sunrise collided on the first turn checking Tippa, All This Mayhem, Dundee Jazz and Velocity Sunrise, Black Panda faltered and tailed off as a result. Tippa galloped on Velocity Sunrise on the home turn checking Tippa, All This Mayhem and Velocity Sunrise.
Black Panda underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured left metatarsal and a laceration to the left metatarsal. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A post race sample was taken from Blazing Flora - winner of the event.
