Stewards spoke to Mr W. McMahon after he failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Jillissa for racing. Mr McMahon was issued a warning pursuant to GAR 46(2).

Akina Error and Dr. Rayna collided soon after the start.  Loufie checked off Spot On Cinta on the first turn.  Dr. Rayna and Artemisia collided on the first turn causing Dr. Rayna and Renewed to collide, Renewed raced wide as a result and collided with Another Rupee.  Empowered checked off Akina Error approaching the second turn.  Dr. Rayna and Akina Error collided in the home straight.  Empowered checked off Akina Error in the home straight.

Trainer Mr J. Carr requested that Cloncurry Girl undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a deep laceration to the left metatarsal.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
