Steward's Report
Gunner's Hawk - Late scratching at 10:44am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr D. Kerr was fined $100.
The start of this race was delayed by five minutes due to Lure Driver issues.
Hawesome was slow to begin.
Hawesome crossed to the outside soon after the start.
Hawesome underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms T. Pakusch, the trainer of Hawesome, regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Hawesome must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
