Potential Lomar was slow to begin.
Potential Lomar galloped on the heels of Double Drop on the first turn. Kris Le Cashew checked off Shanlyn Rose on the first turn. Double Drop and Capricious collided on the home trun. Double Drop, Capricious and Shanlyn Rose collided entering the home straight checking Double Drop and Shanlyn Rose.
Double Drop underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Potential Lomar - the winner of the event.
Stewards conducted a check of catcher’s licences in accordance with LR 16.2 and all were compliant.
