Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Diorite Fire upon arrival at the course.
Fernando Frank was slow to begin.
Jamo and Smooth Operator collided on the first turn. Smooth Operator and Rocky Pie collided on the second turn. Arizona Eyes checked off Aston Antoine in the back straight. Diorite Fire checked off Aston Antoine on the third turn. Zipping Django raced wide on the home turn and stumbled entering the home straight.
Zipping Django underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke with Mr J.Collins, the representative of Zipping Django regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Mr Collins stated that he thought Zipping Django had tired late in the race but had performed as expected given he was having his first start over the longer distance. Stewards accepted the explanation of Mr Collins and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.
