Steward's Report
Dr. Cassia was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Agent Piper, Claydon, Amrin and Whiskey Blues collided on the first turn checking Agent Piper, Claydon and Whiskey Blues; Sunshine Spolly and Dr. Cassia raced wide as a result. Star Gem raced wide on the first turn. Sunshine Spolly and Star Gem collided on the home turn. Agent Piper and Amrin collided several times in the home straight.
Star Gem underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Star Gem must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Omega Dodge - the winner of the event.
