Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Double Eclipse was quick to begin.  Lika Lottie was slow to begin.  Madalia Pixie clipped the heels of Double Eclipse soon after the start checking Madalia Pixie.  Dr. Rozzie and Double Eclipse collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Rozzie.  Double Eclipse checked off Omega Cimarron on the first turn.  Omega Cimarron and Battle Symphony collided on the first turn checking Battle Symphony.  Double Eclipse crossed to the outside on the first turn causing Victory Chase and Lika Lottie to collide severely checking Victory Chase.

Dr. Francisco was slow to begin.  Dinkydi Asset checked off Dr. Lynch soon after the start.  Aston Frigate, Kratos Bale and Dr. Lynch collided on the first turn checking Aston Frigate, Kratos Bale, Dr. Lynch and Thunder Spolly and severely checking Dr. Francisco; Dinkydi Asset fell as a result. 

Dinkydi Asset underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Lucero and Dr. Collette collided soon after the start checking Lucero.  Lucero and Madalia Phoebe collided approaching the first turn.  Spyro The Dragon and Odd Gem collided approaching the first turn severely checking Spyro The Dragon.  Odd Gem, Dr. Edward, Camila and Lucero collided on the first turn everely checking Dr. Collette which raced wide as a result.  Odd Gem, Dr. Edward and Camila collided several times on the first turn.  Spyro The Dragon galloped on Quintana Jive on the first turn causing Spyro The Dragon to collide with Madalia Phoebe checking Lucero and Madalia Phoebe.  Dr. Edward and Camila collided approaching the home turn.  Odd Gem and Camila collided approaching the winning post.

Dr. Cassia was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Agent Piper, Claydon, Amrin and Whiskey Blues collided on the first turn checking Agent Piper, Claydon and Whiskey Blues;  Sunshine Spolly and Dr. Cassia raced wide as a result.  Star Gem raced wide on the first turn.  Sunshine Spolly and Star Gem collided on the home turn.  Agent Piper and Amrin collided several times in the home straight.

Star Gem underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Star Gem must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aston Gripen and Spring Typhoon collided soon after the start.  Quick Paws crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Bartholomew Bale, Shady Tex and Go Pappa Go.  Aston Gripen, Spring Typhoon and Super Nat collided on the first turn checking Spring Typhoon and Super Nat.  Man Absconded and Quick Paws collided on the first turn checking Quick Paws.

Zambora Bear and Skittle were quick to begin.  Top Faith, Skittle and Goldrush Rose collided on the first turn checking Skittle, Goldrush Rose, Ouzo and Oh Suzie.  Get Real and Zambora Bear collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Skittle and Oh Suzie collided on the first turn checking Oh Suzie.  Top Faith and Ouzo collided approaching the home turn.

My Word Shirley and Old Town Road were slow to begin.  Princess Ollie, Winlock Winner and Dundee Jester collided soon after the start checking Winlock Winner and Dundee Jester.  Old Town Road crossed to the rail on the first turn and collided with Duke Of Airly checking Dundee Jester, My Word Shirley and Old Town Road.  What Price Mason crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Akina Dee Jay.  Old Town Road checked off My Word Shirley on the first turn.  Duke Of Airly checked off My Word Shirley on the first turn.

Dyna Bonnay and Locked In collided soon after the start.  Zipping Hamish crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Okawa Eye Candy, Zipping Pink and Whodat Dare.  Locked In and Eastside collided approaching the home turn checking Locked In.  Dyna Bonnay checked off Locked In approaching the home turn.

Adonis Sands - Late scratching at 1:15pm under GAR 37 (4) on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian after the greyhound was found to be infested with fleas.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Jillissa crossed in soon after the start checking Black Hog Ride.  Stay At Home and Jillissa collided on the first turn checking Stay At Home and William Rose.  Dr. Rayna and Swift Zeal collided on the first turn.  Slick Paws and Black Hog Ride collided on the first turn.  Stay At Home and Dr. Rayna collided approaching the home turn checking Stay At Home.  Stay At Home galloped on Jillissa on the home turn checking Dr. Rayna causing Jillissa to race wide.  Swift Zeal checked off Stay At Home on the home turn.
