Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

Rapid Faith was slow to begin.  Flywheel Frankey, Ripplebrook Rory and Bose Rose collided approaching the first turn severely checking Flywheel Frankey and Ollie's Portrait.  Rapid Faith galloped on Select Charlie on the first turn.  Flywheel Frankey and Ollie's Portrait collided approaching the home turn.

Sudden Force was checked off Hurricane Red on the first turn.  Quick Paws was checked off Burning Mountain approaching the home turn.  Canowindra and Sudden Force collided on the home turn.  Canowindra raced wide in the home straight.

A post race sample was taken from Gotham Duke - winner of the event.

Patricia Maureen was quick to begin.  Cee Me Snoop was slow to begin.  Bricabrac and Wild Card collided soon after the start.  Bricabrac and Cee Me Snoop collided on the first turn. Wild Card was checked off Patricia Maureen on the first turn and stumbled severely checking My Faith. Bricabrac was checked off Demolition approaching the home turn.  Bigwig and Demolition collided on the home turn.  Bricabrac raced wide in the home straight.

Wild Card underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the left hind leg.  No stand down period was imposed.

Spolly's Beauty was slow to begin.  Private and Blair Bale collided on the first turn.  Just Faith was checked off Cloncurry Girl on the first turn.  Xalynn Bale was checked off Private on the first turn. Just Faith and Blair Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Blair Bale.  Xalynn Bale raced wide in the home straight.

Sawan Sawan was quick to begin.  Weeona Roger and Mostro Rocks collided on the first turn. Nate's Awesome galloped on Sawan Sawan on the home turn severely checking Nate's Awesome which stumbled and tailed off severely checking Weeona Pete and Weena Roger.

Nate's Awesome underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right hock and was humanly euthanised.

Frankie Fever, Vegas Rules and What Price Mason collided soon after the start checking What Price Mason and Vegas Rules.  Greysynd Spectre galloped on Zipping Kingston on the first turn checking Frankie Fever and Rockin' Richard.  Vegas Rules galloped on What Price Mason approaching the home turn, faltered and tailed off as a result. Frankie Fever and Whistlin Missile raced wide on the home turn. Vegas Rules and Rockin' Richard collided in the home straight.  Whistlin Missile raced wide in the home straight.

Vegas Rules underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right humerus, an injured right monkey muscle and abrasions on the left wrist, left toe and right hind leg.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Tamou Bale, Thurles Princess and Timmy Tunga were slow to begin.  More Donuts and Petite Charlotte collided approaching the first turn.  More Donuts and Tamou Bale collided on the first turn checking More Donuts.  Tamou Bale and Thurles Princess collided in the home straight.
