Rockstar Gately went up with the lids at box rise. Ingenuity, Busy Time, Dundee Joker and Bigwig collided soon after the start checking Busy Time, Dundee Joker and Ingenuity. Ingenuity, Busy Time, Dundee Joker, Bigwig and Shamrock Boy collided on the first turn checking Ingenuity, Busy Time, Bigwig and severely checking Dundee Joker and Shamrock Boy, Shamrock Boy lost ground as a result. Rockstar Gately and Weeona Bont collided approaching the second turn. Busy Time and Bigwig collided approaching the second turn. Busy Time and Weeone Bont collided entering the back straight. Busy Time checked off Rockstar Gately on the home turn causing Busy Time and Weeone Bont to collide.
