Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Steward Mr. R. Glass did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Fernando's Boy and Princess Ollie collided soon after the start checking Princess Ollie. Harry's My Name and Fleur Burger approaching the first turn. Spring Hummer and Princess Ollie collided on the first turn checking Princess Ollie. Fawkner Park faltered approaching the home turn and lost ground.
Fawkner Park underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted following race 12 and no apparent injury was found. Stewards spoke to Dean Elliott, the handler of Fawkner Park regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Fawkner Park must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Penta Allen, winner of the event.
