A sample was taken from Aston Wizard at the trainer's kennel earlier today.
Bomber's Wonder was quick to begin. Mighty Marvin, Aston Wizard and Seve Rose were slow to begin. Invictus Spirit was checked off Toby Time approaching the first turn. Mighty Marvin and Invictus Spirit collided on the home turn. Bomber's Wonder was checked off Mighty Marvin in the home straight. Mighty Marvin and Seve Rose collided in the home straight. Mighty Marvin lost ground approaching the winning post.
Mighty Marvin underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (cramp) Mighty Marvin must perform a satisfactory trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post race sample was taken from Pirates Patch - winner of the event.
