Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Wonderful World.
Spot On Mick went up with the lids and was slow to begin.
Prince Archer and Sonic Sensation collided at the 250m mark. Stigmatize and Wonderful World collided at the 150m mark and again at the 100m mark. Big Little Sis and Prince Archer collided at the 50m mark and several times approaching the winning post. Big Little Sis visibly eased approaching the winning post.
Big Little Sis underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both tricep muscles. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Geoffrey Fisher, the representative of Big Little Sis regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Big Little Sis was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Fisher pleaded not guilty to the charge, Big Little Sis was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
