Steward's Report
Mr. J. Magri failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Foul Snooker for racing. Mr. Magri was issued a warning pursuant to GAR 46 (2)
Omar Little and Mr. Milford were slow to begin.
Foul Snooker and Cornhill Rebel collided soon after the start. Nella Bale and Queens collided soon after the start checking Queens. Omar Little checked off Mr. Milford on the first turn. Mr. Milford checked off Foul Snooker on the first turn. Greysynd Blue checked off Foul Snooker on the second turn. Nella Bale and Queens collided entering the home straight. Greysynd Blue marred Foul Snooker approaching the winning post.
Greysynd Blue underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a superficial laceration to the outside of the right hock and no stand down was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Cornhill Rebel, winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Ramage, the handler of Greysynd Blue regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Greysynd Blue was charged with marring. Mr. Ramage pleaded guilty to the charge, Greysynd Blue is suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
