Urban Ruler and Tyche Onyx were slow to begin.
Western Bomber, Urban Ruler and Lara Croft collided soon after the start. Stacey Keeping and Lara Croft collided approaching the 300m mark. Urban Ruler and I'm Orion collided at the 300m mark. Tyche Onyx and I'm Orion collided approaching the 250m mark. Kaylin and Manila Sprite collided approaching the 250m mark. I'm Orion and Tyche Onyx collided approaching the 100m mark.
Urban Ruler underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the lower back. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
