Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from All Inn Fergi.
All Inn Fergi was slow to begin.
Renegade and All Inn Fergi collided at the 250m mark. Lottie Biscotti crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark. New England visibly eased and turn its head approaching the winning post.
New England underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right monkey and right quadricep muscles, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Peter Frost, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), New England was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Frost pleaded guilty to the charge, New England must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
