Stewards spoke to Mr T. Whitford, the trainer of She's Got Cash and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 100m mark.

Lou Lee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have, a spike wound the left dew claw, a 14  day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr R. Palmer, regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 150m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Lou Lee was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Palmer pleaded guilty to the charge, Lou Lee must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Buddy Boy - Late scratching at 10.20am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr J. Hetherton was fined $100.

Supplementary Report:

Stewards today finalised an inquiry that was opened on Monday 29th July, 2019 at the Healesville meeting, into the conduct of licenced Catcher Mr Timmy Noy, in which he struck the greyhound Searching twice with an open hand following event 9 in the catching pen. In the opinion of the Stewards this action was deemed to be detrimental to the image and welfare of greyhound racing and subsequently charged Mr Noy in accordance with GAR 86(q). Mr Noy pleaded guilty to the charge and was suspended for 1 month effective immediately and fined $500 with $250 suspended for 12 months pending no further breach of similar offences. In assessing penalty Stewards took into consideration Mr Noy's guilty plea, remorse and cooperation with Stewards, previous similar offences and general deterrence.
