Coco Marlow was slow to begin. Cursed stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin.
Vixstar and Winsome Fernando collided approaching the first turn. Vixstar and Cursed collided approaching the first turn. Cursed checked off Jim's Hotel approaching the home turn checking Coco Marlow which stumbled. Micky Rads and Zipping Sheila collided on the first turn. Jim's Hotel checked off Micky Rads on the first turn. Vixstar and Winsome Fernando collided approaching the home turn. Vixstar raced wide on the home turn and collided with Zipping Sheila. Cursed and Jim's Hotel collided in the home straight and approaching the winning post.
Coco Marlow underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Vixstar underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to the representative of Vixstar Mr K. Lloyd regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn. After taking into account Mr Lloyd's submissions and acting on their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
